Pitch Report Details
Brabourne pitch, like the DY Patil is showing wear and tear but still an excellent batting surface. Good batting teams will score in excess of 150 and still struggle to defend due to the true nature of the pitch. Lightning outfield also helps. Mumbai may see some light showers as the summers are around the corner. Rain may help the tired pitches to quicken up and we may see 200+ scores also achieved.
Bowlers have also got assistance from the Brabourne pitch and dew also plays a part which may make spinners less effective.
- Highest Total: 223/2 by Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2023.
- Lowest Total: 138 All Out by Royal Challengers Bangalore vs UP Warriorz in 2023 Average 1st Innings Score: 175.
- Average 2nd Innings Score: 163.
- Highest Successful Chase: 164/2 in 17.3 overs by Mumbai Indians vs UP Warriorz.
The pitches in the Brabourne and in other venues have started showing signs of tiring. The ball is now kept slow and low and will further become a bat first pitch in the absence of dew in the games to come.
The captain who wins the toss will choose to bat first from heron.

Royal Challengers vs Gujarat Giants WPL 2023 | Dream11 Team Prediction
Royal Challengers Bangalore, with a lot of Huffing and Puffing, managed to win their first game of the season and finally put a score on the points table. They will need to win the remaining 2 matches and still end up with 6 points. That means other teams have to play really badly for RCB to qualify, which looks highly unlikely. With only a mathematical chance, RCB will find it tough to keep the team motivated, as the team is struggling in their batting and bowling is toothless and have struggled to take wickets. In her two outings, Shobana has shown great promise and her accuracy is impressive for leggies.
Smriti Mandhana will have her smile back now with the last win and the fans may see a rejuvenated captain taking on the bowlers . It has been a tournament to forget both as a batter and as a captain for India’s best batter. Sophie Devine donned the bowler’s cap and had a good day against the UP warriorz.
The overhyped Richa Gosh has been very average behind the stumps and though her dropped catches and an easy stumping did not hurt RCB in the last match, Indian management should look beyond her in the future. She had an average U19 and Senior Worldcup too.
With one extra game, Gujarat Giants have mathematically a better chance to compete with Lucknow Warriorz and would like to get past RCB. The match became a make or break for both teams for the final 3 spots.
Sophia Dunkley and Laura Wolvaardt should both play the upcoming match and Ashleigh Gardner should come well after a batting collapse saw Gujarat Giants thrashed by the table toppers Mumbai Indians.
Kim Garth could be rested for this match and Gujarat can bring in the South African to strengthen the batting which has been their Achilles heel
