Sunil Narine
Sunil Narine has to be the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of IPL 2024. With Gautam Gambir back in the KKR Camp in a new role backed the West Indian to go back to open for KKR which he had first done in 2017 season which did a world of good to an out of form Sunil Narine.
Sunil Narine with the bat and ball could be the single biggest reason why Kolkata Knight Riders won their 3rd IPL Title.
With the ball, Sunil took 17 wickets and was instrumental in keeping the runs down in the 4 crucial overs he bowled.
Sunil hit his maiden T20 Century with 3 fifties. He was involved in partnership in excess of 500 runs this season.
Virat Kohli
This season saw Virat Kohli in a new Avatar to shut his critics up with his power hitting and by maintaining an above average strike rate in the entire Tournament.

Sanju Samson (Wicketkeeper)
Sanju Samson’s talent was never in question but this season the Rajasthan Royal captain played a vital role in bringing his team to the playoffs and almost was in touching distance to the cup.
This season was Sanju’s best IPL season of all time.
Sanju Scored 531 runs at an average of 48.2 with a strike-rate of 153.4 with five half-centuries.
Sanju Samson with his brilliant all-round performance took the lead from Rishab Pant this season.
Heinrich Klaasen
Heinrich Klaasen came into the IPL Season as the most dangerous T20 player as per current form. He took his recent good form into the IPL and played a pivotal role in bringing his team Sunrisers Hyderabad to the finals of the IPL 2024 season.
In the recently concluded SA20, Klaasen was the second highest run scorer. In IPL he scored 479 runs with four fifties at a strike-rate of 171.
Heinrich Klaasen has quickly earned the reputation as a six- hitter player and is currently the leading six hitter in 2024 with 38 sixes in IPL alone this season.
His Strike rate of 182.1 against spin has made him the most effective player in the middle order.
Nicholas Pooran
Due to his team’s performance, Nicholas Pooran was under the radar the entire season. Nevertheless, Pooran had one of his best IPL seasons this year.
The Trinidadian southpaw, scored a total of 499 runs this season, an individual best.
For his flamboyant style of batting Nicholas Pooran was remarkable consistent and averaged 62.37.
Tristan Stubbs
After being released from Mumbai Indians, Tristan Stubbs would have remained warming up the bench but the sudden withdrawal of Harry Brooke opened the doors for Stubbs to play in the middle order and the South African grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
Stubbs finished the season with a death-overs strike rate of 297.33, the highest in an IPL season ever for a minimum of 100 runs. He faced 75 balls in this phase, of which only two were dots.
Andre Russel
The 2024 season saw the resurgence of KKR’s biggest weapon, Dre Rus left his injury prone phase and came into the season leaner and meaner. He became KKR’s most reliable bowler this season.
Known for being a big finisher as a batter, Russel is quickly becoming known as an excellent death bowler too.
Andre Russel proved to be a big match player playing a vital role in the finals to help KKR Lift the 2024 Trophy.
Pat Cummins- Captain
Pat Cummins is currently having the best 2024 year with back-to-back World Cup wins in Test and ODI and now being the finalist of the 2024 IPL season.
He will again get a chance to win yet another World Cup with the ongoing T20 World Cup in West Indies. Australia is one of the big contenders for the Cup.
Pat Cummins came into the IPL in the mini auction becoming the second costliest player in history of the IPL. He was entrusted by the SRH management to build and lead a strong IPL team.
This Season, Pat Cummins was by far the best captain in the IPL and his unconventional approach helped SRH play an exciting brand of cricket which almost won them the championship.
Cummins picked 18 wickets at an economy of 7.9. With the bat, he played handy cameos to give SRH much-needed lift in the death overs.
From being in the bottom of the table in the 2023 season to becoming the finalist, Pat Cummins truly deserves to lead the Best IPL Team of 2024 season.
Kuldeep Yadav
Kuldeep Yadav has to be the most improved bowler in the last 2 years. From being a player on the bench to becoming the main strike bowler for his team, this southpaw has come a long way. He will play a crucial role in India’s quest for their second T20 World Cup Title.
In the 2024 IPL season, Kuldeep’s economy rate was 8.70, but his ability to take wickets (16 in the season) allowed the team to have an upper hand.
Jasprit Bumrah
While Mumbai Indians took the wooden spoon in the 2024 season, Jasprit Bumrah stood tall for the Mumbai Franchise with some amazing display of fast bowling.
Jasprit Bumrah finished the season with 20 wickets at a brilliant economy rate of 6.48 when batting teams more often than not, scored in excess of 200 in the tournament.
He was a lone ranger for the Mumbai Indians and was effective with the new ball in the powerplay and at the death.
His performance stood out in a tournament where bowlers were often at the receiving end with ultra-aggressive batting display in the tournament.
Trent Boult
Trent Boult took 16 wickets in IPL 2024. The biggest advantage of having Trent Boult in the team was his ability to take wickets in the powerplay with some accurate bowling,Trent Boult became the second-highest wicket-taker in the powerplay in the history of the Indian Premier League, during Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He has been a core part of the New Zealand team over the years and brings a lot of experience to the table.
Trent Boult was instrumental to bring Rajasthan Royals to the playoffs.
