We are days away from an Exciting Women’s T20 World Cup Tournament and the International Cricket Council (ICC) is not leaving any stone unturned to make this the most watched and followed Women’s World Cup.
Over the years, Women’s Cricket has garnered much Interest from cricket fans and ICC is trying to promote the game of cricket to make it as popular as the men’s game. This will be the ninth edition of the event.
T20 format best suits the women’s game and hence will have a decent global audience for the mega event.
As part of the ‘Glitz and Glamour’ attached to the game of cricket, ICC has announced the official event song for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 titled “Whatever it Takes”.
The Official song is sung by an Indian All-Girl Pop Group ‘W.I.S.H’.
The Soundtrack collaborates with composer Parth Parek and acclaimed Music Director Mikey Mc Cleary and is produced by Bay Music House.
With the soundtrack, the official musical video was also launched adding color to the World Cup event.
The pop group will cater to the international audience, especially the cricket-crazy Indian audience, and bring in the young cricket fans to the game. The energy W.I.S.H brings will enhance women sports empowerment globally.

The 2023 edition in South Africa, recorded over 190 million global viewing hours and the 2024 edition is expected to further improve those staggering numbers with a wider global reach.
