Though they have not still found their right combination and their batting relies purely on their first 3 top order batsmen. Royal Challengers Bangalore have been lucky and their three top order stars have delivered to cover the flaws of their balance weak batting set up. Royal Challengers Bangalore will be aware that if the opposition can take the initial three wickets cheaply, they can run down the Royal Challengers Bangalore batting line up and restrict the Bangalore team under 150 in most matches. One of the advantage Royal Challengers Bangalore has had this season is that they have won most matches in the Chinnaswamy which suits their style of play. While their bowlers are still grossly out of form, batsmen has won them the game. The form of Dinesh Kartik is worrying and they may think of an alternative to give their team that much needed push in the last few overs.

The niggle for Faf would have been sorted out by now and he may be back leading the team against Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals will be a tough opponent and Royal Challengers Bangalore may struggle against the Rajasthan Royals bowlers.  Royal Challengers Bangalore will know that they will be in a tough space if they bat first as they will not be able to post a total good enough to defend considering the bowling form of the team currently.

Rajasthan Royals will be hurting after their last game loss against the Lucknow Super Giants. Their batting and bowling are in good form and they would hope the loss last game was just an aberration. Rajasthan Royals will look to come back to their consistent winning form and the form of Jos Butler and Sanju Samson in a batting friendly Chinnaswamy stadium will direct the way the game goes.

Rajasthan Royals will be relying more on their slow ball bowlers but the dimensions of the Chinnaswamy Stadium may be difficult to defend any total. Rajasthan Royals would not mind chasing or setting up the target and may look to replace Ryan Parag with a better batsman to give support to Shimron Hetmayer in the middle overs and slog overs of the game. Rajasthan Royals may need to correct probably the weakest link in their game which is the inclusion of the underperforming Ryan Parag even after repeated failures as their top order is in scintillating form. We can expect a score above 200 if Rajasthan Royals bats first.
