Pitch Report Details
DY Patil is showing signs of tiring and this will make the tournament more competitive and more unpredictable. Batting in the second inning was a no brainer but scores of 150+ is becoming more and more difficult.
RCB on 15
th March vs UP Warriorz finally managed to put a score on their table and chased a relatively easy target and dew did play a part in the last 5 overs. UP Warriorz braved the dew and kept the match competitive till the last run was scored. The Pitch of DY Patil is true and has a decent pace. What has changed from the initial period of the tournament is the pitch is showing signs of turn and bounce. RCB Leggie Shobana was impressive.
The average first innings score has been at 160+ but teams are now struggling to reach the average par score. Mumbai Indians and UP warriorz are both good batting units and the team who bats first will cross the par score but will still struggle to defend.

WPL 2023: Mumbai Indians Vs UP Warriorz Match Details
The Mumbai Indians will want to tighten their grip and maintain their dominance in the tournament. Mumbai Indians have been dominating the tournament while bowling first or while chasing. The last match saw the growth of Yastika Bhatia and she is now in our view, miles ahead of India’s first choice wicket keeper Richa Gosh, who has fumbled a catch or a stumping in almost all matches in the tournament.
The batting of the Mumbai Indians does not rely on individuals and in most matches the batting unit piled up the scores as a collective unit. If there was one concern in the Mumbai Camp, it probably was the bowling form of Amelia Kerr, who had a wonderful game against the Gujarat Giants with bat and ball.
Halley Mathews will come hard on the UP Warriorz as she got dismissed in the first over of the match against the Giants.
Mumbai Indians will not want to slip up now as Delhi is just one match behind them and teams will want to be at the top of the table to get an automatic qualification to the finals.
The Middle Order and the lower middle order have not got enough time in the middle as the tournament progresses into the business end. Chloe Tryon may still not get a node unless there is some serious player injury. Mumbai Indians will not want to change their winning combination.
Back-to-Back Losses against Mumbai Indians and RCB on the 15
th March, will make the UP Warriorz desperate to get 2 more victories from the balance 3 matches to secure their top 3 spots in the qualifiers. That will mean they will literally shut the doors to the Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers.
So, there are a lot of stakes in this match.
Bowling is a concern for the Warriorz and the team is struggling to take wickets from their regular bowlers. Batting too is over relying on their international players and the overhyped Kiran Navgire has disappointed more often than not after her initial 50 in the tournament.
Alyssa Healy will be eager to correct her low score and the team will look to Tahlia Mc Grath to inspire the team with both bat and ball. Up should look at a stronger opening batting pair
Sophia Eccelstone should bat higher and unfortunately; Shabnam Ismail will miss out in the playing eleven.
