The suspense is over. BCCI has announced that the mega auction for the Indian Premier League 2025 will be held on November 24 and 25 in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah.
After the Dubai 2024 auctions, this is the second time when the auctions are held outside the country
4th November was the last date for player entries into the auction pool.
Readers should know that this is a mega auction, not a mini auction which was not a popular option this year as few franchises did not want to part ways with their players.
Apart from the players retained, all the other players will now go back into the auction pool and may look at an option to play for a new team.
While there some of the teams have kept their RTM (Right to match) card option available and have the option to buy back a player
