Border-Gavaskar Trophy – Indore Test – KL Rahul

India’s Opener KL Rahul has been sacked as Vice-Captain for the remainder of the series owing to his poor form, and in the most likely scenario, might be dropped for the 3rd and the 4th Tests of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Shubman Gill is set to replace the Karnataka batsman and open with Captain Rohit Sharma.

While this change was inevitable, the extra rope given to KL Rahul by the Indian coach and the management was being questioned. While Rahul has complete backing from coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma in front of the cameras, guess it does not seem to be the same in the dressing room.
