Top Performers – Laura WolvaardtLaura amazed 571 runs in the tournament. She scored back-to-back centuries in the semi-finals and Finals. Laura was the highest run-scorer of the tournament with an average of 70+. She also made three fifties along with 2 centuries.Her standout performance came in the semi-finals against England when she single handedly took South Africa to the finals with a brilliant 169.
- Alana King (Australia) – Leg Spinner

Alana King delivered the spell of the World Cup against South Africa when she rattled the South African batting with her 7/18 spell. This is the best bowling figures in the history of the World Cup.
- Smriti Mandhana ( India) – Batting

Smriti Mandhana, India’s run machine, started the tournament slowly, but with Pratika Rawal, gave India the best possible start, helping the side post big totals in the tournament. Her 100+ partnership with Shefali Verma helped India post a big total in the finals, which proved decisive. But her best knock came in the must-win game against New Zealand of 109 runs. Smriti scored a total of 435 runs, which is a record for India in World Cups beating Mithali Raj’s record of 434 runs.
- Jemimah Rodrigues ( India) – Batting

Battling with poor form and even dropped for one game in the tournament, Jemimah Rodrigues’ World Cup campaign was not going as expected, but her true calling came in the Semi-Finals against Australia. Her 127* in a 339 run chase helped India to reach the finals. The score came in a high-pressure knockout game, which made the century even more special.
- Annabel Sutherland (Australia) – Allrounder

Eventual successor to the legend Ellyse Perry in the Australian team, Annabel Sutherland’s all-round ability as made her one of the best allrounders in the women’s game. In the the World Cup she claimed 17 wickets at an average of 15. Her best performance came against England where she made an unbeaten 98 runs and also claimed 3 wickets.
- Shefali Verma (India) – Batting but gave a allrounder’s Performance

Not initially selected in 15 for the World Cup , Shefali was called in as replacement for Pratika Rawal who unfortunately had a serious injury and was incapacitated to play the Semi Finals and Finals for Team India. While she had an ordinary Semi Finals , Shefali played her best ODI innings in the Finals, scoring 87 runs off 78 balls. This was the highest-ever individual score by an Indian opener in the final of any limited-overs World Cup. But the Surprise came when captain Harmanpreet Kaur took an out-of-the-box call and gave the ball to Shefali who immediately gave India the upper hand with 2 crucial wickets. She was also Player of the Finals.
- Nadine de Klerk ( South Africa)- Allrounder

Known more as a bowling allrounder, Nadine de Klerk also proved to be an effective finisher who won South Africa 2 games single-handedly with her late-order batting. De Klerk, in seven innings, scored 208 runs, striking at 131.64 and averaging 52. Her standout performance was the 84 not out off 54 runs against India in the group stage.
- Marizanne Kapp (South Africa) – Allrounder

Marizanne Kapp did not have the best of tournaments as per her high standards. But she did give performances in the World Cup to prove that she is still one of the best allrounders in the world. Her Best performance came in the semi-finals with 5/20 and a brilliant 42 runs, guiding the Proteas to the finals.
10. Pratika Rawal

Batting in the top order, she scored 308 runs in six innings at an average of 51.33, finishing as India’s second-highest run-getter and fourth on the overall tournament. She unfortunately suffered an injury which incapacitated her from further participation, thus missing the crucial semi-finals and Finals fixture.
Summary
While India eventually were crowned the Word Champions, individual brilliance from each team made the competition one of the most competitive in its history. From Batting and Bowling brilliance to some spectacular catches made the 2025 Womens Cricket World Cup truly special.
While there are many performance as good as the above players in the list, that did not make our list, some honorable mentions are Alyssa Healy’s blistering century and Heather Knights consistent run in the tournament.
